Hey, my name is Chatrin “Phil” Soimora

I create eLearning content that is engaging to learners that also meets organizational goals.

My Approach

Understanding Needs

I actively observe classes, interview learners, and analyze their surveys in order to understand what their needs are. This gives me an idea of how I can tailor the content to their match theirs needs while creating a safe and supportive learning environment while making the material engaging.

Application of theories

I take several multidisciplinary theories and apply them to content creation. Gagne’s Nine Events of Instruction, Bloom’s Taxonomy, the ADDIE Model, Andragogy, Social Cognitive Theory, and other theories of motivation are considered when I create my content .

Professional

I currently work as a bank facilitator for USAA Federal Savings Bank. I started at USAA in 2022. I have held many roles such as being a credit card specialist, deposits representative, and working escalations. Prior, I was attending Franklin Pierce University as a DPT student, Doctorates of Physical Therapy. Ultimately, I decided that healthcare was not something of interest to me which is what led me to USAA. Before PT school, I worked as Security Forces Patrolman in the U.S. Air Force.
